TESTS:     6 tests are given as shown on the Math Dept's Course Syllabus for 100 points each. A comprehensive final gives 200 points. No make-up tests may be taken. A missed test is a zero test score and late assignments result in loss of points. Tests are graded and returned as soon as possible but certainly less than a week.

GRADES AND THE GRADE SCALE:     The final grade is based on the 800 points above. This sum is divided by 8 units for an average which is scaled to the following course grade:

ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED:

  1. Each student is expected to attend every class and arrive on time including the final exam.
  2. FINAL EXAM: Thursday, Dec. 13, 7 - 8:50 p.m.
  3. Over THREE class absences during the semester will result in a course grade of F. Two times tardy or two times missing some part of class counts as an absence.
  4. CHANGES: Some additions, substitutions and/or corrections to this page or syllabus may be made during the course.
  5. Call me before hand if you have an attendance problem or are having difficulty with this course.
  6. Free tutoring is available for this course.
